Geoff founded GkJE in 2013.
Geoff Jaeger is a writer, designer and curator and the Founding Executive Officer of GkJE.
Completing an Honours Degree in English Literature in 1997, his studies incorporated gender politics, science fiction writing, deconstructionist theory, post colonialism and several other ‘isms’ along the way. His honours thesis examines two novels by Aldous Huxley: Brave New World and Island.
While working at Qantas, Geoff was editor and feature writer for several internal magazines, wrote copy for senior executives and developed and implemented complex communication strategies. During his writing career Geoff’s been published academically and written for Same Same and Eastside 89.7 fm. That’s included interviewing and writing about musicians, artists, photographers and film makers.
With a Bachelor of Design Studies and Diploma in Education to go with his Honours Degree, Geoff has a unique understanding of design across both literary and visual fields. Add to that a curated team of people, and you have a tailored experience for GkJE clients.
As a photographer Geoff’s had several successful group and solo shows in Sydney. In 2016, he worked closely with the Head On Photo Festival to curate eight major exhibitions. As curator of GkJE Galleries, he works with artists and photographers to exhibit and market their work in public spaces.
Geoff is currently working on his first novel, a new web series and the final draft of a screenplay for a feature film.
